Collective Worship
At Clarendon Junior School we celebrate Collective Worship in a range of ways. It is a time for reflection and thought.
Children take part in a weekly celebration through our Star of the Week assembly. This is our chance to celebrate good work, attitude, behaviour and news. The Attendance Bear is also awarded as well as house point winners. We link Healthy Schools by sharing our Clarendon Cabbage results showing how much fruit and vegetables children have been eating for snacks. Children listen to a range of music linked to our Take One theme for the term.
Year group/phase assemblies are held weekly, and cover a range of themes.
In class Collective Worship is held daily through discussion, stories and role play exploring a range of themes. They are also linked to our PSHE and RE curriculum.
