Children at Clarendon Junior School have lots of opportunities to take part in Outdoor Learning activities. We are very lucky to have lots of outdoor space and a purpose built outdoor learning hub.  Our Outdoor Learning Lead, Mr Ward, takes groups/classes out daily to experience outdoor enrichment activities. 

Each class also has an Eco Councillor who helps us to maximise outdoor learning experiences.  The children have come up with lots of ways we can encourage wildlife and there is a focus on our responsibility to look after the world we live in.  For example, we are very proud to be the 'crisp packet recycling point' for the Tidworth area, and we have lots of keen litter pickers who help to keep our grounds tidy.

We also enrich the Eco Councillors awareness by taking them out into the wider community to experience different wildlife habitats and environments.  We also look elsewhere for ideas that we can implement in our own grounds.  For example, we went to the New Forest and visited a Deer Sanctuary and Arboretum.
